You don't need to create an account or sign in. All you need is your phone number. It is required by the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation. You can also download this app on Android.

Go to the Settings tab and enable Location Sharing.
Enter your location manually or select your current location.
You can now see all the WiFi hotspots nearby.
